France Painting of a Lavender field, 'Purple, Wheat, and a stone hut' by Rebecca Cch Art

After visiting the Valensole plateau, I went on a road trip and was driven to the stunning area called the Sault plateau. This plateau has the most natural looking lavender fields. The swathes of purple lavender surround you and you find yourself perched amidst an ocean of deep purple with wild wheat sprinkled everywhere. The Sault plateau is probably my favourite lavender field plateau! 

I felt so free standing in the field of purple...the vastness coupled with the seemingly untouched quality of the fields (so natural!) really gave me sense of serenity in that moment. I felt so much gratitude for being alive, for being able to see such a beautiful sight. When nature touches your heart, your heart blooms like a flower. In this case, mine bloomed like a beautiful lavender :) Nature touched my soul in that moment, and I felt so lucky. I hope you feel the same when you see this artwork.
